19.01.2022 Market Wrap 25/11/2017 ______________________________________________ November results finished on a high for the Elders Inner West team with 6 properties selling at auction on Saturday.... Even though bidding registrations were lower than previous weeks, determined buyers competed to secure a property at the final auctions for 2017. A Croydon Park semi sold for $1.12 million and another at Denison St Lewisham sold for $1.44 million. A young couple up-sizing purchased a renovated home at Manning Ave Strathfield South for $1.61 million and a 2 bedroom unit at Liverpool Rd Ashfield sold for $648,000. Two vendors celebrated on Saturday with Elders Inner West exchanging contracts on their properties after failing to sell previously through another agency. 02.01.2022 4 December 2017 AGAIN, Elders Inner West performed well above Sydney’s auction clearance rate, successfully selling 6 from 8 properties. Bidding competition was up as buyers were determined to secure a home before the Christmas break.... The mixed weather didn’t hold the crowds away either, as big numbers turned out to experience the excitement of on site auctioneering. Two homes in Ashbury were sold with 25 Woodlands Road selling for $1.81 million and Trevenar Street selling for $1.745 million. A brick home at 22 Tahlee Street Burwood with shared driveway access sold for $1.8 million and a weatherboard home in Carlyle St Enfield sold at $1.7million. 15 Waratah Street Croydon Park sold for $1.5888 million and a duplex at Belmore sold for $1.42 million. 02.01.2022 9 December 2017 The selling hype kicked off a day earlier with the Elders Inner West team exchanging 4 contracts last Friday. Saturday's auctions performed well above the Sydney auction clearance rate, selling 6 from 8 auctions on the day, with a 75% success rate.... The top sale was an apartment in Cabarita that sold for a RECORD $3.1 million. The auction of an original terrace on the market for the first time in over 50 years at Napolean Street Rozelle drew a huge crowd with 15 registered bidders and a sale well above its reserve selling for $2.06 million. Other strong sales on the day included a single front home on 301sqm of land at 34 second Street Ashbury selling for $1.38 million. A renovated apartment at 5/9 Taringa Street Ashfield sold for $790,000, also above its reserve and a 2 bedroom unit at Shftesbury Road Burwood sold for $850,000. At 3.45pm, the final auction of the day at 271 burwood Road Belmore sold way above expectations for $1.3 million.
