16.01.2022 The State Government announced new measures regarding off the plan concession changes which will become effective from 1st July 2017. Effectively off the plan concessions will only apply to people who purchase a residential property with the requirement that the property will be their principal place of residence. The purchase of holiday homes, investment properties both residential, commercial and/or industrial will no longer have the benefit of the off the plan stamp duty concession.

10.01.2022 The Victorian Government passed legislation in April 2016 titled "the access to medicinal cannabis act 2016" with the motivation by the Government to assist seriously ill children who may benefit from access to medicinal cannabis to treat conditions such as Epilepsy where conventional medicine has not been of benefit. Victoria is well on the way to becoming a world leader in that field.
