07.01.2022 The Great Corporate Duck Race is on this Sunday 1.00pm at the Macquarie River. 2BS will be livestreaming the race on their Facebook page as spectator restrictions are in place due to Covid. The Great Corporate Duck Race is now in its 4th year to raise much needed funds for local causes.... The major cause this year is the 2BS Bathurst Lions Club Christmas Miracle appeal which fundraisers to pack and deliver over 1,200 hampers to those less fortunate or elderly in the Bathurst area We have a duck in the race - so fingers crossed. Not sure of its name Nick Shurmer but the suggestion from Breeza Gowland of Goose is a great idea.

Soldier On has partnered with the founders of this movement, a group of volunteers called Aussies and Kiwis for ANZACs to enable each and every one of us to stand at our driveways from 5.55am on ANZAC day. An app has been released on both Android and Apple, that will feature a virtual candle and synchronised playing of The Last Post at precisely 6...am so we can virtually stand side-by-side to show our respect as a nation.
