21.01.2022 Parenting is a tough gig... especially when your babies are not well babies. And I should know, i had 2! . And when I look at how I am surviving this stage of my life there is one pivotal difference between how I have gone about it the second time around.... . Both my babies have suffered with colic and severe reflux, you know the kind where they projectile vomit across the room and hit the wall ... . Their colic would be so bad that their tummies would grow twice the size and the contents would slush around so you could hear it like shaking water in a water bottle as I tried to bounce them to comfort. . I could seriously go on for ever about how tough it was, especially with the lack of sleep in the house and the ongoing sleep eversion as they grew from the pain when I would lay them flat to sleep.... . But for me I found the happy ending . When Gracie was a month old my sister-in-law introduced me to doTERRA and I just brushed it off at first as I just couldn't take in what she was telling me. Luckily I went back a few weeks later and took on board what she was saying to me. . I started using essential oils with Gracie for bad colic attacks in a warm shower, dropped on the floor while I held Gracie in the flowing water. For 20 minutes after our shower she would fart and burp and then fall asleep! This was mind blowing. . 2 years earlier I had never heard of doTERRA and had to survive this nightmare day in and day out of a baby in pain because no one had share with me how powerful essential oils can be and now I could help my baby day and night with this little bottle of magic. It was amazing. . As Gracie grew, so did our dependance on essential oils. We have used them to support sleep, teething, growing pains and my energy levels. . Im sharing this with you so that you too know there is a solution out there to what you are going through. 15.01.2022 Tonight Harry was itching after his bath and was very worried about what had caused it. . An hour later he we are sitting reading together and he turns to me and says... . Mum, you know how I was itching?... . Me yes I remember . Harry Well it’s not the oils, the oils are lovely. It’s not the salt, the salt is lovely.... it must be the winter bugs!!!! . long story short I was telling someone the other day how I use a drop of tea tree and a spray of Terra Armor in my shampoo to help with the winter itch I get in my hair and he must of remembered. . #winterbugs #lovelyoils #thebest See more

14.01.2022 These are my favourite 2 emotional oils. . Boy have they got me through some tough times. I was unaware of where they sat on the emotional wheel but now I know it all makes sense. . Last year our family went through a really tough time. We were a up rooted and needed to find a new normal after some very traumatic experiences. I naturally found myself diffusing this combo from intuitive pick nearly every day. ... . Since then I have been using the touch rollers regularly when I need comfort and once again in the last few weeks I have found myself in a very emotionally challenged place. A very vulnerable place which made me feel exposed and scared. . I’m strong, resilient and in charge of my life but sometimes changes come along that take the wind out of our sails temporarily. .
