10.01.2022 Hey guys and girls. Just thought I’d throw an update out there for anyone that’s been wondering what happened to frankenmini. At the moment frankenmini is getting the motor rebuilt. We are building it tough (because a standard 351 Windsor V8 just isn’t enough power) This will be a worked V8 (roller rockers, monster solid cam & lifters, Gilmore drive, 40thou over, methanol fuelled AWD mini on 37 tyres you’re likely to see anytime soon. Building the custom tail shafts and fu...el tank now and my good friend Brendan is putting the motor and gearbox together. This project car is ‘finally’ well underway and looking to be finished by October this year. I’m going to be starting to post up progress reports and images very soon. -All fabrication including custom front bar and side tanks done by myself OOO Industrial- *WATCH THIS SPACE* Ps: mini sits 4 higher now
09.01.2022 When shoehorning a 351 windsor into a mini engine bay(even after cutting out a stack of body work) there isn’t much room left for things like brake boosters. However with a little thought and mucking around anything’s possible. Using the original clutch and brake pedals from the mini, these will now be the accelerator and brake pedals. Toyota Corolla brake booster and master cylinder.
08.01.2022 Roof console and dash ready to fit and wire up.
06.01.2022 Bakers open car meet in green hills

04.01.2022 Having an engine bay makeover. Amongst other bits and pieces. Taking the clevo out and sliding the Windsor in
