24.01.2022 This is an unusual thing in that this time rather than being more random, I hope everyone is ok that I am actually picking a winner. This piece is going to 2 people that I met once some 4 years ago and have admired sadly from afar ever since. I dont ordinarily find myself getting lost in Jazz, however Wendy and I went and watched them every night whilst on board a cruise. Tina and Warrick are talent personified and like many musicians making their living largely from Live Gigs... I am certain they are doing it tough right now. 24.01.2022 I finished off this piece last night and am giving this piece away today to a Mum. Thanks to all the Mums, Mummies, Majkas, Mumma Bears, Mas, Grannines, Nannas, Maters, Abuelas, Duckies, Omas, Nonnas, Moers.....or whatever your spawn may call you. I know your "lists" over the past few months has been exxxxtra long and pressures greater. Not long now. A HUGE hug for those that are no longer with us......And to the mother of my children Wendy, my "other mother" Jen and my beautiful mother Jan. I love you. 23.01.2022 Over the past few days I have been finishing a few big abstract and commissions off. This is a spunky new 240x100 piece in the natures bloom series, I havent listed it as yet, but wanted to see if any of you guys might have a home for it :) #SOLD
23.01.2022 Sooo.....Wendy does my pages, and takes so long to do. To deepen my level of trouble this was an 80 year old Les Miserable Manuscript (in french too I might add) so when I stuck a photo to it with the "you shoudlnt use that tape" tape, and it rippppped a huge chunk out of it, there was nothing left to do than do more.....and it became this. Winner or not? :) ....edit..WINNER apparently AS IT #SOLD immediately

21.01.2022 A glass of wine and a somewhat average sunset outside the studio on some old sunners....but with perfect company... If I watched a million sunsets with my girl, I would still long for one more. Love and hugs where ever you are in this crazy world.

19.01.2022 If youre Spunky and you know it clap your hands....Here is the 4th piece I am giving away during the Corona Shutdown....one of my all time Favourite themed Urban Pop pieces. A bit of Warhol, Rob Indiana and Franko Grunge.... There are no barriers to entry other than sharing this post so I dont have to pay to boost...and please let us know if anything exciting or funny has been happening in your neck of the woods. Anyone participated in the Garbage bin thing, or Flip the Swit...ch etc etc??. Funniest memes? 16.01.2022 Dilutions of colours to make a pool and top layer of colour that you can look into...textures of course, but not 1 layer of thick paint. Layers (Plural) of all things....including layers of clear gloss finish in between layers ...my Bluv !!!! :) #SOLD

13.01.2022 A spunky rich cobalt bling piece all ready for sale...just LOVED doing this (even though its chilly for abstracts)....Anyone have a home for this Gorgeous piece :) If you buy it before EOFY and stick it on your work wall, it should be a nice tax write off for your business...(just make sure with your bean counter!)......its 150x250cm... #SOLD

13.01.2022 A few people picked this piece out of a background and asked to see him when he was finished. He is on a 140x180cm base with pages from a 1936 book "Wagons Westward" :) #sold off to a Hotel in New Mexico USA I also have a new 120x150 almost finished will post later.

11.01.2022 Always a great time of year for a bit of Astro Photo fun, but a tad chilly. From atop the Studio roof :) Dark winters nights, with the Milky Way in full bloom in the southern hemisphere. We have way more stars in our view than the North ever gets.....fun facts with Franko. Set camera to infinity (so many "tutorials" miss this critical step) lowest fstop your camera will do...this was f/2.8. Have camera on 10 second timer before 30 sec exposure. I think ISO was 1600, but I mucked around with it...and then stay VERY STILL lol......this all gives a nice image of what you cant see with the naked eye, and lightroom brings up the rest....not much skill needed....its a bit noisy, but hey, Im no pro, and my boredom threshold can be quite low at times. :)

06.01.2022 Happy Sunday spunky people! I mentioned a couple of months back that I had a new Ahiga underway. So here he is, and yes he is looking for a new home. The book base is an 80 year old pages of "Wagons Westward" and makes for a stunning base that adds to the narrative of the piece. This piece is 120cmx 150cm.
