25.01.2022 Enrolments for Kindergarten for 2022 are now open. If you have a child who will be four years old by the 1 January 2022 and you: - live in the Franklin Primary intake area or... - have children already attending school here They are eligible for enrolment at our school. If you know of any families who do not have children at Franklin Primary yet, but who fit this criterion please pass on this information. Please contact us for more information and enrolment forms.

25.01.2022 Grade 6 Orientation Day Welcome to the Grade 6 students joining us on Wednesday (2nd December). Please consider the following: Students make their way to school... as they intend to next year. Meet at the Gym 8:45. Please wear your primary school uniform. BBQ lunch provided. Bring a water bottle and some snacks. Students will be placed into classes for the day (subject to change). End of day is 2:55. We are looking foward to a fun day!! 21.01.2022 School Fun Run update - Friday, November 6 is the final day for all fundraising. Congratulations to everyone for their outstanding contributions and to those who have reached their fundraising targets. As a school, we have raised closed to $5,000.00, which is an amazing achievement. For those who have cash, this must be dropped off at the office by Tuesday, November 10. After November 6, students will be able to login to their fundraising profile page and order their prizes. All prizes must be ordered and finalised by Friday, November 13. Congratulations everyone!!

21.01.2022 Yesterday we held a Remembrance Day service to pay respect to those who served our country. Heidi Alderslade read "In Flanders Fields" and the "Last Post" was played before 1 minute's silence. Students made poppies and talked with their class about the importance of Remembrance Day. This artwork was created by Makenzie Sharp in year 4/5.

20.01.2022 So much fun! What a great day for our athletics carnival yesterday. Although a little warm the students had a great time and showed wonderful sportsmanship. A big thankyou to all our volunteers and helpers on the day!

19.01.2022 SCHOOL WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR This week our school was learning how to demonstrate respectful, positive language. We collaborated with classmates, demonstrating teamwork. Great times!

We will leave the park at 9:30am to go on our Stor...y Walk, so please meet us at the gate by then. No need to book for this session, we can all attend together! 05.01.2022 Golf for kids in the Huon Valley - Students aged 8-14 have the opportunity to participate in a free program at the Huon Valley Golf Club. The My Golf program aims to increase participation, support skill development and to also highlight the social and fun aspects of the sport. The first session will start on Sunday, September 27 commencing at 2:00pm at the Huon Valley Golf Club. All golfing equipment is provided on the day.
