10.01.2022 The Snowy Valleys libraries are participating in the regional Summer Reading Challenge. It would be a great incentive for our students at Franklin to participate. Each participant will get a booklet that comes with challenges, for which the library have prizes. This challenge comes with many benefits to children such as encouraging good reading habits; reluctant readers can be drawn in by the activities; children can keep their skills up as it defeats summer learning loss. ...We would encourage our students to pop into the town library and participate in the challenge. It would also be a chance for our students to utilize other resources that the library have available for them during the school holidays. The Tumut Library is open six (6) days per week, as follows: Monday to Friday - 10.00am to 6.00pm Saturday -9am - 12pm See more
