23.01.2022 Flavors of Garlic and Garlic Judging Trevor Gray - Garlic aficionado & National Garlic Awards judge will speak on the Flavors of Garlic and Garlic Judging in t...he Meeniyan Town Hall on Festival day - Feb 15 Trevor grows around 40 different garlic cultivars each season and helps preserve rare garlic cultivars for future commercial (re)establishment. He works with many growers helping them identify the garlic they grow, and on occasion, offering advice on other cultivars worth trialing as well as diseases and pests. Trevor is an active member of the Australian Garlic Industry Association Board and is one of the Judges of The Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards Garlic. Garlic aficionado and garlic judge at the Australian Fine Food Awards, Trevor Gray comes all the way from Sydney to talk to us about the 11 garlic families and the many cultivars. 06.01.2022 Still learning about the process - how to be more efficient while upscaling to a larger crop - but the resulting garlic is still same excellent product! Firm, full flavoured cloves! It's great to have the family involved.
