03.01.2022 If you have a business, then you no doubt will like to know how to plan for 'disruption' to your business.
02.01.2022 Today we revisited the foreshore pathway that we planted up a looooooooong time ago, to do a bit of spot weeding and tidying. In general the plants are doing su...rprisingly well having had no attention whatsoever except for the unwanted kind (flood, drought, dog peeing and pooing etc). No that's not true. We don't mind the dogs. Oh and some nice clouds. See more

01.01.2022 Fantastic opportunity
01.01.2022 The Wooden Boat Centre Tasmania is excited to be offering a current or recent school leaver a full scholarship to complete our One Year Shipwright Course in 202...0. Applications are now open and we want your help to spread the word for this exciting opportunity. This inaugural course will focus on the processes of modern and traditional timber boat building, and a component of fine woodworking. Held over a 42 week schedule, our course is structured similarly to a university timeframe. A very generous anonymous benefactor has donated $15,000 to the Wooden Boat Centre for a scholarship recipient to complete the course. The recipient must be a school leaver between 2016-2019 and live in Southern Tasmania. Applicants are required to send a CV and 200 words on why they would like to take part in this course. Applications are due Monday 18 November, 2019. Please send applications to [email protected]. See more
