To fix a system that is failing us. To reform the Early Childhood Education and Care system and Child Care Subsidy. Because making it FREE would allow more women to work. Would decrease the pay gap. Increase super. Boost the economy. 02.01.2022 The snap back mentality is baffling. The entire working landscape has changed so why would this service remain the same? It makes no sense at all. The old system didn’t work for everyone. The interim system isn’t working for the educators and teachers. There has to be a better way. One thing we’ve learned through all of this is that change can happen. And, can happen quickly. Now is a good time. "We have a working system of supplying education to children ...over 5 years, why not duplicate it for those under 5 years? A universal system of play based early education publicly funded like our schools are, would allow both children families and businesses to get the early education and care they need."
