04.01.2022 Council has been made aware of the below signage posted around the Waikerie and Ramco area. We wish to make it clear that this is NOT a Council endorsed sign. A...ll Council managed campgrounds are closed to the public (locals and tourists) for overnight camping until further notice and all breaches will be referred to the Police. They are however open for recreational day use, such as walking the dog. All users must observe social distancing requirements. A list of these campgrounds can be found on Councils website: https://www.loxtonwaikerie.sa.gov.au//lat/council-closures Other camping areas along the Murray River not listed may be managed by National Parks SA or Crown Lands and different rules may apply. Council asks that members of the public with any information as to who created and posted the below signage to please contact Council directly.
