16.01.2022 Well its been a very busy few months with lots of hard physical work, planning and of course lots of shopping trips to the nurseries. Hard work put in by all th...e family(Tom and Spencer included). We are so pleased to say that our gardens are finally finished! Yeh!! There is still roses and a few plants to arrive with Winter! Big shout out to our locals who helped get us to this point! Ryan Brunkhorst-builder, Webb Concreting - garden edges, Walls Sand and concrete-soil and tea-tree mulch, Mick's Four Seasons Nursery , Mitre 10 and Cherry Lane Nursery-for the plants, Franks Bobcat Hire Pty Ltd- tree removal and earthworks, 4WaterSupplies-rainwater tanks, irrigation system, Jamie Debnam for our grape vine trellis, Dave Williams for the ironbark sleepers, Mag Plumbing & Gas Pty Ltd - stormwater& plumbing, Kurt Vedelago- Rose Arbor & swing frame! My friends and family know how much I love gardens and it was a pleasure to design and bring the elements together! We just need rain of course and time for the plants to mature! So many fragrant floral plants were planted. So we should have a beautiful range of flowers for the office! Special memories of my childhood with my Dad an avid gardener! Dad preferred to appreciate the roses on the bush but mum preferred them on the table! We have planted sweet peas on the rose arbour for Winter and 2 Red Pierre De Ronsard roses for summer! Its been a great to spend our days during the Covoid pandemic - out in the garden, however I will say Mike and I arent as young as we once were and are feeling it! See more

15.01.2022 We have been working on the exterior and grounds of the property these last few months. We are onto our last and biggest garden now. We called in the big guns t...o do the heavy lifting! Thanks to Franks Bobcat Hire Pty Ltd. Its exciting to have a Clean slate except for the boulders that where already there. In the interests of recycling we did replant the majority of the smaller shrubs in other garden beds! That lonesome plant is a rosemary, worthy of saving, for cooking with of course! Thanks to Mick's Four Seasons Nursery for helping us with our plant selections! Watch this space!! See more

07.01.2022 First stage of our massive 4 stage carport replacement starting today. Big shout out to Frank Musemici from Frank Bobcat Hire for popping out the concrete for the posts. Mike, Ryan and Don hard at work. Stratco cooldek being delivered this morning.
03.01.2022 Its been a huge day at the motel we said goodbye to our storage container and now have this fabulous open space. We started my Granite rock garden next to the o...utdoor area. Pots repotted and no doubt Mike and I will sleep well tonight. Big shout out to Franks Bobcat Hire for doing the heavy lifting. Relocated part of a massive really old English box hedge and some lovely grasses. Thanks to Webb concreting for forming up our new garden edges and to Ian Rigg for setting up the lighting bollards! Just waiting for our swing supports to be made by Kurt Vedelago and Ryan Brunckhorst to refit Toms timber swing he made in year 10! More pics later in the week! See more
