21.01.2022 It’s sad to say but the day has come. Effectively immediately all sports and parties are to be canceled. Tonight the federal government have announced we are to cease operations. For party bookings we will be touching base in the next 48hrs to organise refunds ect... To our teams we hope that when the dust settles we will see you return. It is definitely the last thing we wanted as our team will be with out work indefinitely. So please we hope to see you back soon and we can’t wait to get back out on the courts or sand and put this miserable time behind us

16.01.2022 Interesting read about the benefits of continuing social sports. We do ask as per the recommendations that teams don’t shake hands or high five. We recommend all teams to bring your own bibs to assist us with numbers. We will provide each team with washed bibs and a clean ball for each game. Also we stress any teams wishing to withdraw from competition to please contact us in advance we are only too happy to accommodated you. Last minute with-drawls will still incur forfeits.

09.01.2022 !!!COVID-19 UPDATE!!! Today the Australian Government have recommended that all social gatherings in Indoor Areas be limited to 100 people. Its is also stressed how important it is for community involvement is for our mental wellbeing and health. Sweat has also not been shown to spread the virus and its advised that we all need to take precautions should we feel ill and not push through like we would normally do, but instead get tested and self isolate if needed. How does it... effect us?? Greatly!! As a small business we have to find a way to keep operating and get through this trying time. BUT ITS BUSINESS AS USUAL with a few changes Effectively Immediately we will be restructuring our game times and implementing some new rules. These are to provide the safest environment we possibly can. - Game times will be changing. We will be implementing new times to facilitate increased numbers through change over times. We will introduce a small break of 15min before each game to allow current teams to exit the centre and new teams to enter. - All players MUST be entered into team registers. This includes fill ins. Traceability is essential to your well being. Captains players can be entered into the register from home. Login into www.frankstonindoorsports.com.au and head to results and fixtures. You will see a login in bar at the top. Contact us if you have issues logging in we can help set you up. - NO hand shaking or unnecessary contact during and at the end of games. -Umpires may ask players to leave the court should they show signs of being ill. We acknowledge we are not doctors but we have a duty of care in times like this to provide the safest environment possible for all people -We have already implemented a process to clean balls between games and will be washing bibs daily. We still stress anyone concerned please bring your own bibs. We are also chasing hand saniters we will put near court entries (but impossible with the shopping centre panic) however soap and hand dryers are still in our bathrooms. -We are looking into digital thermometers as well and may implant a quick temp check but this is a few days away as we need to make sure we can get the right equipment and understand how to implement it correctly Teams this is an OPT-In system. If you have any concerns please contact us and will remove you from fixtures till your ready to return.

03.01.2022 Just an update for all of our patrons. It is still business as usual for us. With the current COVID-19 dramas we are encouraging our teams to take the appropriate precautions and take care of yourselves. But our doors will remain open Until we are told otherwise by health officials. We are insuring we keep a clean environment for your health and safety. We would encourage players that don’t feel 100% to seek professional advice and take the appropriate steps to rest and recov...ery. Netball teams that are concerned with use of bibs and cleanliness to provide your own for games. And to limit unnecessary contact at the end of games with handshakes and opt for a spoken word instead. We do understand there are many opinions on the corona saga and would also invite any teams or players that do have concerns to contact us in advance to adjust fixtures or try to help you resolve your issues.
