25.01.2022 COVID-19 Update As at 11:59 on Wednesday, due to a confirmed positive case in a hotel Quarantine worker, Victoria has reintroduced restrictions for private gatherings to 15 people and masks are again mandatory in indoor settings. ALL patients must wear a face mask when entering Frankston Osteo and in the consultation.... Anyone who has visited the exposure sites listed below must get a COVID-19 test and remain isolated for 14 days. We will be adding these hot spot locations to our pre-screen questionnaire Hot spot suburbs - Noble Park - Keysborough - Brighton - Brandon Park - Springvale - Heatherton For updates of the specific locations in these suburbs visit http://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/case-locations-and-outbreaks For specific testing locations visit https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/where-get-tested-covid-19

23.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Stage 4 restrictions have finally been clarified. Since the announcement of the new Stage 4 restrictions, we have had an overload of information and we want to update you all! We are still here for you.... But only if you are completely broken! In a nut shell: - Osteopathic clinics can remain open, however, the criteria for treatment is extremely specific. - You DO NOT require a referral from your GP to book an appointment with your Osteopath. - Patients may see their Osteopath for EMERGENCY AND/OR URGENT CARE ONLY. AM I URGENT ENOUGH? -Emergency or urgent care may involve a treatment that is required to prevent a significant change or deterioration in functional independence and to avoid emergency department presentation or hospital admission. -Patients who are sufficiently diminished in their ability to independently carry out daily essential activities may be eligible for treatment during this period. -Maintenance appointments and follow ups are not currently classed as urgent care. -These emergency appointments must be booked and utilised within a 24hour period. Unfortunately we can not pre book appointments at this stage. -We will be telephone screening these patients prior to the appointment to ensure you meet the criteria. -We understand that this may be frustrating, but we have to ensure we are all abiding by the COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions. All appointments booked from Thurs 6th Aug to Sunday 13th September have been cancelled. We apologise if this means you are unable to attend your regular appointments. For emergency appointments only, please contact 9781 3314. If your call is not answered straight away, you will be contacted back shortly. We appreciate your patience and understanding. 21.01.2022 ANOTHER COVID-19 UPDATE! Morning All, Stage four restrictions unfortunately will remain at the current level for Frankston Osteopathy and all other allied health businesses from the 14th September to the 27th of September. ... Sadly this means that anyone who has booked a much needed appointment during this time will have their appointment cancelled. After the last 6 weeks of such limitations on treatment criteria we understand that many of you are now more likely to fit the criteria for urgent care. If you have had a significant deterioration in functionality that is effecting your ability to carry out daily tasks then please give us a call. Please note that unfortunately routine treatments are not permitted. We thank you All for your patience and tolerance in this process. 15.01.2022 To all of our Wonderful Patients, Our industry restrictions were set in motion today by the DHHS and the Victorian Government. At this stage we are still getting clarifications regarding some details. In a nutshell;... STAGE 4 COVID-19 CHANGES TO OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT ARE EFFECTIVE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. Due to the new Stage 4 restrictions set forth by the DHHS and the Victorian Government, patients can no longer see an Osteopath without a referral from a GP or specialist. We have hence cancelled all patient appointments for tomorrow Thursday the 6th of August. Clarification on referral requirements for patients on TAC, VA, TCPs and WC are yet to be confirmed. We will keep you posted when we learn more regarding these restrictions. Wishing you all well Team FO

02.01.2022 Frankston Osteopathy will be remaining open during the newly instated stage 3 restrictions. Our Osteopaths are now required to wear face masks during your treatment.
