19.01.2022 South played out a nail biter against Officer, with Officer hitting 4 off the last ball of the game to leave both teams tied on 2/127. Top batters: Cahli - 31, Fee - 40* and Deb - 26*. Great catching in the field from Deb, with Gow and Chloe both taking a wicket each. Burwood came out all guns blazing against Shield but thanks to great out field catches from George, Cayla, Nat and Al they were kept to 100, Jules 2/13 and Nat 4/9. 09.01.2022 A great weekend of cricket with both teams having strong wins. Shield made 202 off the opening partnership of Aimz (87) and Brodie (85*). Edinburgh finished with 7/35. Teags celebrated her birthday with 2 wickets and Nat took a hat-trick. South set Parkfield the target of 133 with Cahli retiring on 50 and Bec hitting a career high 33*. Cahli took 3/7 off 4 overs into strong winds, Fee took 2 wickets and a combination of great fielding and bowling led to a team hat-trick.
