25.01.2022 Celebration of Achievement 2020 (Year 7-12). (Also available on YouTube)

25.01.2022 How good are the Edge Ukulele group? Many first time players who just started this semester.

24.01.2022 Edge Day goes to Kindy!

24.01.2022 After 25 years we now have a new House Uniform! The students have been involved in every step of the process from working with designers to create the logos, to making tough decisions around the shirt designs, and to modelling the fresh new look. Shirts go on sale from Monday for only $35. The old shirts are still good for at least 2021 if you want to go 'old school'. Well done, students. You have made FCAC history!

24.01.2022 20 years ago FCAC students played a role in the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony. Joshua Euler (Class of 2001, Centauri) reflects on being part of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

23.01.2022 Check out what our past students have been up to by following our FCAC Alumni group.

22.01.2022 We are very blessed to have spent time with Fr. Richard Browning , Director of Mission with the Anglican Schools Commission. We loved your message of serving our community and are looking forward to future projects together.

21.01.2022 Mrs Lee Catterall was the Deputy Head of Junior School at FCAC, before going on to be the Head of Junior School and now Deputy Principal at Ormiston College. If you've ever been in a Junior School Musical before 2010, you know Mrs Catterall. She has kept strong links with FCAC since moving to Brisbane and sends this message on our 25th Anniversary.

20.01.2022 Our Year 6 students welcomed 10 new students into their classrooms for the day as part of our Year 7 Orientation Program. We hope you enjoyed getting to know your new classmates, the College and look forward to having you with us in 2021.

20.01.2022 After a few technical issues we are pleased to present the Celebration of Achievement for Prep - Year 6. Enjoy From today (18/12) the College is closed until the new year. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

20.01.2022 Thanks Lizzie from alive magazine for your shout out! Welcome to our College community, we look forward to when Isla starts at Koala Kindy - she is going to love it!

19.01.2022 Looks like our Year 6 Campers are having a blast at Noosa North Shore Retreat!

19.01.2022 Dylan and Nathan took out the Table Tennis tournament today. Obviously their skills in other sports transfer across to the paddles. Thanks, Mrs Hurford, for organising. :)

19.01.2022 Last week our selected Middle and Senior School students represented the College at the Hervey Bay District Athletics Carnival. We finished 3rd overall which was a modified event with some novelty games included. There were some great efforts throughout the day and considering they were competing in year levels and not in their usual age groups, they did the college proud. Congratulations goes to Emmily who received the Year 10 Girls Age Champion.

18.01.2022 Two great success stories from one family. Over the last week the vast majority of our #classof2020 have received their first preference 'dream' offers to universities in Brisbane and in the region . Special congrats to those who have already commenced employment and/or apprenticeships and traineeships. #success

16.01.2022 Happy World Teachers' Day to all our wonderful teachers at FCAC. Can you spot our Year 2 superstars in the state collage photo? #WorldTeachersDay #thankyou

16.01.2022 We've got some great ATAR results coming through today for our Class of 2020. You have worked hard for these results. Well done to everyone - first year of ATAR under 'unprecedented' circumstances. We are proud of you all.

14.01.2022 Meet another one of our second generation families. Gemma graduated from FCAC in 2001 and now has two of her own children at FCAC.

14.01.2022 Merry Christmas "May our light shine so bright that others will see Your reflection in us daily"

12.01.2022 Here's a 25th Anniversary message from a couple of our past students: Abbey (2010) & Josie (2012) Priebbenow (Capella!).

11.01.2022 Our students represented the College admirably today at the Hervey Bay District Cross Country Carnival, with many of our students achieving podium positions and several named Age Champions. Well done to all who competed and Congratulations to those who have qualified to go through to the Wide Bay Cross Country Carnival later this month.

10.01.2022 We'll leave the last word for 2020 to Mr Wright who discusses 25 years of FCAC in this interview with ABC Wide Bay, recorded earlier this year. All the best to our College Community for 2021.

10.01.2022 Our awesome Yr9s have been giving up their lunch time to coach our Junior School students.

09.01.2022 Thank you, Hannah, for sharing your FCAC experience and insights with the staff this morning. Learn more about the amazing things Hannah and other alumni have been up to since graduating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svnX8a0P5V8&t=330s

09.01.2022 Today, at 11am, all FCAC students were silent in remembrance of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The College's Remembrance Day assembly was led by Father Jeff Jarvis and included a speech by Jackson Hay (Grade 10) who was awarded the 2020 Premier’s ANZAC Prize. FCAC students made over 1000 poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day. Lest We Forget.

09.01.2022 We'll be putting out some 25th Anniversary messages from some familiar FCAC faces over the next week or so. Keep in mind, these were all filmed before March and were orignally slated to be broadcast in the lead up to Foundation Day in April. This first one is from former Principal, Mr Tony Wood (2005-2011), and his lovely wife, Dianne.

09.01.2022 We love it when our students go on to successfully follow their passions post FCAC. Elizabeth was always front and centre in College musicals and drama events when at FCAC. She also loved English at school and now her children's book , 'But Why?', is the finalist in a major competition (see below). Please share with your children and, if you can, please take the time to vote (link below ).

09.01.2022 We enjoyed hearing from some of our Second Generation FCAC families during our 25th Anniversary and look forward to sharing their stories with you.

09.01.2022 3 Premierships in a row for these champions ! The U14s carried the day convincingly against Tinana with a 4-0 win. Our U16s went to extra time against Doon Villa in a tight match but a couple of late goals against them ended what was a good season for the Flames . Well done to all Flames players and coaches.

07.01.2022 Take a look back at the highlights for 2020.

06.01.2022 Year 10 HASS Coastal excursion held this morning. Students looked at natural and human impacts on the beach between Urangan Pier and the groynes between Churchill and Margaret Streets.

06.01.2022 Mr Kevan Goodworth OAM, had a distinguished career in Education Queensland before joining FCAC as our Head of Senior School (2004-2009) and Director of International (2009-2011). He went on to be the CEO of P&C's Queensland and was awarded an OAM for services to Education. Mr Goodworth built strong relationships with students and their families and was well known for his great sense of humour.

03.01.2022 Welcome, Mr Gavin Bolderrow! Mr Bolderrow has been teaching Maths and Drama in Hervey Bay since 2012. During this time, he also went to live abroad in England for two years teaching Maths at two schools in West London. These opportunities helped to further develop his skill as a teacher. In his spare time, Mr Bolderrow enjoys being part of community theatre. He was artistic director of ZPAC theatre for 3 years and has directed and acted in a number of plays and musicals. Singing is also a large part of his life, whether singing in shows with Mrs Myren, or in a choir with Mr Harry. Mr Bolderrow is excited to be joining the FCAC community as a Maths and Drama teacher in 2021.

03.01.2022 Today our new 2021 Prefects served fairy bread to our Middle and Senior students as part of RUOK - it's all about sprinkling a little kindness! The mural featured in some of the photos was done by Mahnoor Ahmad, Tolu Fowodu, Eli Layton and Kyniska Treloar. Well done - it looks great! https://www.fairybreadday.com/

02.01.2022 Enjoy these highlights from the Valedictory Service as we pay tribute to the Class of 2020. In the short time since graduation, they have already achieved success through receiving early university offers, traineeships and employment. Their strong ATAR results will see many recieve their first choice of course and universities when these are offered in January. The ship is ready! Enjoy the journey.

02.01.2022 There's going to be some spoilt mums this Mother's Day. Thanks to the volunteers on our Mother's Day Stall.

01.01.2022 Sienna was a member of the Wide Bay team at the Queensland School Netball Championships held in Toowoomba last week. Sienna was Co-Captain of the U12 Girls Team and was awarded MVP as voted by the opposition coaches. Great work Sienna!
