23.01.2022 Hey guys and galls Anny here. We have a lovely hand raised crimson wing who is up for a adoption. I'm waiting on DNA back but im fairly sure this is a cock bird. *(last photo os of dad)... You will need a wildlife permit to keep these birds. We are living in Ipswich at the moment but can arrange to meet half way. Best contact is 0468913540

14.01.2022 Grand Designs Charles Sturt University's Professor David Watson and honours student Mick Callan have used 3D printing technology to redesign the humble bird ...box, making it suitable for a variety of Australian wildlife. The new adaptable design - pictured below with a content resident - is built to mimic the microclimate of a real tree hollow. Suitable tree hollows can take up to 100 years to form naturally and this innovation could prove crucial in restoring habitat for wildlife after disasters such as bushfire.

The six short videos are self explanatory. The outcome is Brilliant. The lesson is clear. Please check your birds environment for anything that may be a hazard. Casper, our beautiful patient, is probably one of the most relieved pets. He is loving his new lease on life his rebirth. We have shared this case in order to educate and help prevent this happening to other birds and encourage everyone to double-check what's in their birds cage and remove access to any rope or fabric based toys.
