22.01.2022 Best Fraser Coast Business 2019 The Fraser Coast Best Business Award is awarded to the business judged as making the best contribution towards the region’s economic wellbeing through excellence in business performance, through making a substantial contribution to regional prosperity, collaborating across the different industry sectors and contributing to regional industry development organisations. And the winner is... ... Kingfisher Bay Resort! Kingfisher Bay Resort is nestled along the western bay of Visit Fraser Island and provides an immersive back to nature experience, with ranger-guided activities, 4WD island tours, and award-winning bush tucker dining experiences. You may arrive at Kingfisher Bay Resort expecting golden beaches and sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see, but there are post-card moments at almost every track and turn... Well done team! A huge congratulations to Southern Cross Support Services, who has been highly commended at this year's awards ceremony. Southern Cross Support Services provides help to the region’s most vulnerable through its Disability Support Services and Child Protection Services. Huge thanks to our category sponsor, Fraser Coast Regional Council.
