17.01.2022 We have been supporting our clients to source appropriate supports, assistance and advocacy in the past few months. It is not an easy task. There appears to be no singular body/organisation driving where advocacy assistance can be sourced for a person with disabilities. I’ve made multiple contacts to Qld based advocacy organisations on behalf of clients, only to be told they cannot help, the phone isn’t answered or there’s simply no one willing to try and assist our clients.... Start at Apex Park, 306 the Esplanade and walk to the Urangan Pier with the group. Walk 8km to recognise the 8 Australians who die by suicide daily.
