14.01.2022 I had the privilege of meeting these two beautiful ladies today, Gay and Chris, both from the Riverheads Crazy Quilters Group. They have decided to make and provide 12 special quilts for the Hospices 6 rooms and have started with this gorgeous one. I know they will be so loved by our guests and their families.

11.01.2022 We had the pleasure of providing some burgers to our hard working crew on the Hospice site today along with some subbies who will be there in the future. Great to say hi, touch base and have a walk through the building. Really appreciative of all the hard work guys!

09.01.2022 A massive thank you to Rotary Club of Maryborough City for your generous donation of $5000 towards Fraser Coast Hospice furniture fit outs. Your support is very much appreciated. It was wonderful to share in your Changing Over evening last night. A very special thank you to John Kimber, past President, for your support.

05.01.2022 A very special day today turning the first sod on our Hospice block! Could not be prouder of the work of our amazing Fraser Coast Hospice Committee over the past 2 years and now watching our dream become a reality! Thank you to our Project Manager Pete, our passionate volunteer committee, Aunty Jan for your wise advice and support, Honourable Keith Pitt MP and Minister Greg Hunt, Fraser Coast Regional Council and Mayor George Seymour, my gorgeous family who are my biggest fans, and our beautiful Fraser Coast community for your ongoing support.

04.01.2022 A great afternoon sharing our story with local tradies and Woollam Constructions. Looking forward to some of these fantastic people bringing our Hospice into being! A big thank you to Woollam and Beach House Hotel for hosting the event.

03.01.2022 Week 1. Woollam now onsite and civil works commencing. Today we officially turn our first sod and really kick things off!

03.01.2022 Construction update Week 20 - Wall frames are up. Roof is going on and should be completed next week. Fantastic weather for roofing!

02.01.2022 "Woollam is very excited that construction is about to begin and we want to see local tradespeople involved in every step of the project so that the jobs and investment stay in the area.'' It is being jointly funded by the Fraser Coast Regional Council, which donated the land, and the Federal Government's Hinkler Regional Deal, which provided $7 million to build and operate the facility for three years. Call 3041 1115 for more information or come and see us at the Beach House Hotel tomorrow afternoon from 3.30pm if you are interested!

01.01.2022 To some, this may just look like a Donga on a block of land, but to Fraser Coast Hospice Association it looks like progress! Civil works will be starting in the next week, and we are very excited to see things finally happening on the block! Our official Sod-Turning Ceremony will be held from 9am Friday 20th November, with Council and Hospice Association representatives, along with other special guests. Please note we are limited to 40 people due to Covid guidelines, but an open event if you wish to join us.
