25.01.2022 This Moasaic Sea Snake was found by staff at Aquavue Cafe Restaurant this morning washed up on the beach, When Sea Snakes are found on the beach or seem to be struggling to swim, it is a general sign that they are injured or unwell and need medical attention. If you see a sea snake on any beach, please call your local snake catcher so we can get them the help they need. Please do not handle them, they are dangerously venomous and have very delicate bones that are easily br...oken. 19.01.2022 Check out this beautiful Coastal Taipan we escorted off a busy road last night! Although these are a very flighty snake and are dangerously venomous, they would have to be one of the quickest snakes to calm down once they realise they are not in danger. Being one of the most feared snakes, I feel this video is important to show just how calm these animals really are when you act calm and respectful around them.... If you ran at this snake with a shovel or tried to catch or harm it, it would be a very different story. We snapped a few quick photos on the side of the road and walked with her as she retreated back into the bush.

16.01.2022 The King of the Cane Toad This teeny tiny little Keelback Snake got lost and ended up in a home in Point Vernon tonight where he was mistaken for an Eastern Brown, the residents of the property kept a close eye on the snake and gave us a call, our catchers attended the property and had the snake secured in under 10 minutes and he has now been relocated back into a natural swamp to continue his life. A quick search around the gardens and we located him trying to hide among some plants. ... The Fraser coast has 13 different species of sea snake that can occur in our waters. ...
