Special mention to Murdock, Therika, Henry for competing at their very first meet. 20.01.2022 Congratulations to Macy, Oliver and Xavier who participated in the 2020 McDonald's Qld Open Water Championships on the weekend. Fantastic swims from all three swimmers. Girls 2.5km 12 years Macy - 41.15.14 placing 11th... Boys 5km 15 years and under Oliver - 1:23.51.97 placing 19th Xavier - 1:05.30.58 placing 5th Congratulations to all on your achievements and swimming outside of your comfort zones.

15.01.2022 A different early start for the Sharks yesterday to trade the pool for a hike from Kingfisher to Lake McKenzie on Fraser Island and enjoy our much delayed season break up. 52 parents and swimmers plus our coaches enjoyed all of what the island had to offer. Thanks to our support drivers Jeremy, Ben H, Alison H, Ben M and super coaches Marcus, Liz and Penny.

12.01.2022 Another fantastic carnival of racing with 28 swimmers at the 2020 City of Charm Long Course Prep Meet. The love of swimming and commitment to training is paying off for our Sharks and results are showing whether it is short term goal setting, focusing on specific goals, or best of all taking out a podium finish. I would like to start this report recognising some special achievements of our swimmers who are kicking a few personal goals Tayla, Riley, Sienna, Em...ma, Kai and Samitha have been smashing their PB’s especially in 100 and 200 events and it was very noticeable between Hervey Bay and Bundaberg just how well they are going, Ella 50 Free under 30 secs, Imogen competing in her first ever 50 Fly the week before at Nambour then taking 6 secs off her swim a week later in Bundaberg. Special mention to our younger swimmers Chloe and Leo taking massive chunks off of their PB’s in their 50m events. Congratulations to Alix and Isla stepping out of their comfort zone and competing in 200 Fly. The final event Mercantile Medley Relay Girls Team - Hana H, Charlie, Isla and Hannah K taking out 1st place and Boys Team - Xavier, Sebastian, Zac and Samitha taking 5th place and winning the club all up $320. 07.01.2022 Day 1 of Racing at City of Charm Long Course Preparation Meet and the sharks are proving to be a force in the pool. Again outstanding PB's in the pool, podium positions, pool records and a few more National Qualifying times achieved. Not to mention our Dash for Cash winners going home with a few $$$. ... 03.01.2022 We’re half way through the 2020 McDonald’s Queensland Championships congratulations to our swimmers Amy, Alix, Charlie, Macy, Xavier and Zaniel for qualifying. The first three days of competition have been full on with our swimmers achieving personal best times, a few finals and a third place. Full results will posted at the end of Day 6.
