15.01.2022 Fraser Dingo 4wd Adventures is based in Hervey Bay and runs multi Day Tagalong Tours, supported Hiking Tours and 4wd hire to World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. We are seeking an experienced Tour Guide to join our Fraser Dingo team in delivering professional Guest Service and quality touring experiences! Along with 4wd safety instructions, to a range of customers, across all ages. This is a diverse role that requires attention to detail, problem solving skills, high leve...l of customer service and a passion for the environment, knowledge of 4wding and dangers of sand driving. Must be mature & able to organize large to small groups of people responsibly! To be successful candidates must have:- Valid Drivers License - QLD Drivers Authorisation DA- if you don’t already have your DA don’t bother applying! - Basic Mechanical knowledge- First Aid Certificate- Soft Sand and off-road driving experience- Possible experience in adventure Tourism guiding - Ability to cook or oversee cooking for a large to small groups is a must, with attention to detail around food hygiene and customer requirements. - Ability to instruct people on how to 4wd. - As part of the roll we also require knowledge around camping, dealing with tents and equipment. Broad knowledge of Fraser Island tracks, sites and history etc would be desirable! Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as Certificate IV in Eco Tourism or Tour Guide Level 1 or 2 Accreditation would also be highly desirable, but not essential! 08.01.2022 Hervey Bay based 4wd tour company to Fraser Island, is looking for a 4wd guide to lead tagalong tours and support hiking tours with setting up camp for pack free hiking. Your work place will be Fraser Island, all tours depart and return to our base at Urangan in Hervey Bay. Prior Fraser Island experience would be helpful but not a must. 4wd guiding experience a must. Required to hold a current Qld Drivers industry license (DA). Well presented non smoker that’s fit and capable of moving equipment and lifting gear on and off roof racks. Customer service and food handling experience. Serious interest only, immediate start. Please do not apply if you do not have a current Industry license or willing to get one.
