25.01.2022 Wonderful to see this government taking some proactive steps to ensure the snapperstocks are restored to their former glory so that we can get commercial and recreational fishermen back enjoying their fishing sooner rather than later Thank you to Minister David Basham for being here today and thank you for the investment in snapper fishing

The purpose of this inquiry is to consider the current role and function of the Board within that Act and hear from the community about their experiences with the Board and whether there is a desire for reform.... The committee invites submissions from anyone with an interest in the issues raised by the terms of reference which are available on the Committee’s website www.parliament.sa.gov.au/en/Committees/Committees-Detail. 09.01.2022 In the past week I’ve contacted some 245 local businesses asking them indicate interest in putting on a new apprentice or trainee. Now is the time to do so to take full advantage of the underway 12-months subsidy programs that are on offer. If enough businesses indicate interest, I can host a forum to provide all the info you need and there is potential for our region to qualify as a Skilling SA project region.... Our townships can only grow if jobs are available, so I ask all local businesses to please get in touch with my office this week to indicate your interest in attending such a forum and/or employing a new apprentice/s. Phone 88322455 or email [email protected] as soon as possible.

06.01.2022 Tremendous to host a Skilling SA forum in Kadina today, in conjunction with Copper Coast Council, for business to have direct one-on-one, hands-on help from departmental advisers about how to maximise their workforce With significant investment from the Marshall Liberal Government and Commonwealth Government there has never been a better time to hire an apprentice or trainee Please get in touch with me if you’d like any of the information that was presented at the workshop today, or a contact for the advisers.
