25.01.2022 2019 AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards Silver with Distinction - Illustrative category

20.01.2022 An awarded image from APPA 2018. This scene was discovered on the dunes of Sandy Cape in the early morning light. It received a Silver Distinction award in the Landscape category.

18.01.2022 The 11th EPSON International Pano Awards, dedicated to the craft and art of panoramic photography, were judged recently. It was a record year for entries with 5859 images being submitted from 1452 photographers in 96 countries! "Sandslip" received a Bronze Award - 2020 Pano Awards. Further recognition for an image that was created in the dunes of Sandy Cape, Fraser Island. Earlier this year it was in the Top 10 images of the "Places" category - AIPP Silver Lining Awards. 16.01.2022 Distractions . So many this last year! I’m sorry to those who expect consistency on social media - I’m afraid you won’t find it here! But I am here now..so where do I start? Perhaps by reflecting on my last post - where has the time gone? APPA 2019 was a special event. Unfortunately this year, like so many others, it has been cancelled - we all know why Due to some incredibly hard working members of the AIPP we have the new Silver Linings Awards" to look forward to. Can’t wait to see some of the amazing images that have been submitted, as announcements are made over the coming weeks when judging is completed. I will post some of my entries after that time. For now I thought I might share a couple of images from Fraser Island that you may not have seen.

10.01.2022 Bronze Award - 2020 Pano Awards. Another image from the Northern tip of Fraser Island achieved this result.
