25.01.2022 As we welcome in the summer, we say goodbye to our hiking season of 2020 and what a buzz we had! Despite the outcome of this year, we have a relatively good hiking season. We sent out over 100 hikers, on over 20 different hikes, including 2 of our Luxury Walks. We are so happy to have been able to show so many people an alternative side to Fraser Island. Traversing through nature, especially on Fraser Island, is a one of a kind experience. We are preparing for our hiking s...eason, starting back in March 2021. 24.01.2022 Fraser Island Hiking is looking for a hiking tour / support guide to transfer Hikers to meeting points and complete camp set up and dismantle. The successful applicant needs to have: - sand driving experience - ability to drive large vehicles ie; a troop carrier - preferred knowledge of K’gari Fraser Island... - drivers industry license QLD DA - knowledge of camping, putting up tents etc - knowledge of food hygiene and presentation - customer service - be physically fit and able to move & carry equipment etc - this if seasonal work from March to Oct - it’s on an as needed basis, when there are confirmed bookings. - it’s not shared with any other guide so you would get preference for all tours - only serious interested need apply See more
