20.01.2022 Hi everyone. Our team had an awesome service Saturday night, thanks to everyone who ordered and helped support our business. I didn’t have lasagne or marinara last night, Tuesday I am very sorry. I did them after I finished up, so they are available again today. Everything else is back available today and we are back open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. Closed for Easter long weekend, I will have some options available though for pickup/take home meals. Will sort it out tonight after work and post tomorrow what we will be doing. Stay posted. 20.01.2022 Hello Everyone, I have finished another batch of beef Lasagne, ready to bake at home, or call before and have us bake it for you ready to eat. Every one lovingly hand made from scratch by me! haahah $13.50 Also pictured is a new dish i have done for take home lunch or dinner. Chicken Cacciatore, slow braised chicken pieces, olives, tomato, capsicum, fresh herbs. Served on Parmesan polenta with plenty of sauce. $15.50, microwave 3-3mins and rest couple of mins before eating. ... Lots of fresh seafood in today. Battered fish is still going great, $22 local king dory fillet, Shane's Seafood still working hard to bring us the best. Also have Spaghetti Marinara back on for $32 Pete from Milly Hill Lamb has got some amazing Lamb shoulder coming my way tomorrow. Doing a 700g piece, slow braised and served on top a stack of roasted vegetables and some fresh broccolini. Rosemary salt, oven warmed baguette with olive, lamb jus. $60 Putting our crab cakes on tomorrow. Should be great take away. Spanner crab, blue swimmer crab, fresh salmon deep fried, served boxed in cardboard with a dish of our yummy chilli and tomato jam, fries and a simple roquette salad. $20 Still doing the Chicken and Veal Parmiagiano, house Greek salad, my spaghetti with tomato sugo and a nice stack of fries. $36 for chicken $46 for Veal Also our cheese plates are available for takeaway for only $12.50! Pictured, 24 month aged manchego, King Fisher triple cream brie and Cashel Irish Blue, served with house made grissini, water crackers and dried fruit. Also loving sourced by L.A, Ian and the gang at Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop All our house churned gelato for desserts are now served in little ramekins so you can put them in the freezer when you get home. The brulle look great take away and are served with our delicious shortbread. All $13 or $11 with a main meal. Would like to take a quick moment to thank everyone for the support over the last week. I know everything hasn’t been perfect. On a few occasions we have struggled with the service, but overall things are going nice and smooth now. The feedback has been amazing, with so many people taking time to thank us. I feel privileged, we all do, it is us that should be thanking you. Thank you, everyone. I would love to say more but honestly, its 3.30am, and I am literally hammered. its been a long day, a long couple of weeks. Like starting a new business all over. I am going to bed. 17.01.2022 Couple of new things. Firstly all our pastas are now $22 takeaway with the exception of the marinara which is $30. With the restaurant closed I have made everything As affordable for everyone as possible. I have added a couple of new pastas and will be adding more. I am gong to focus on this style of food, making it quickly for people at the window or via telephone order. There wil be a 15 min lead time only on most orders. The restaurant will be closed for customers, orders ...can be yelled at us through the window payment via cashless cards and orders passed through the Window. I am starting some family meals. Firstly I am focusing on Getting rid of Stock I am stuck with from the sudden shutdown. Including my sirloin and lamb blackstrap etc but I will be moving into more affordable cheaper options as well and will be adding more and more as I free up stock. That said these meals are great value and I hope people appreciate them. These are made to collect and take home for an easy meal. Chicken parmigiana, for two. House made chicken parmigiana(ginormous)topped with our beautiful sauce napolitano, cheese. Served on spaghetti with tomato Sugo(sauce) with a large Greek salad. $36 350g sirloin, Angus grain fed. For two people Cooked in house or I can send them home uncooked for you to throw in the bbq at home. Served with a yummy creamy potato bake, wilted spinach, our delicious jus and our house made Caesar salad. $50 Atlantic salmon fillet, 2 x180g fillets, salad of kipler potato, egg, roasted tomato and gremolata. Simple garden salad with mustard and lemon dressing. House made tartar sauce and lemon wedge. $50 Baddass battered fish and chips, fresh king dory filet battered in my crispy as hell batter, with house cut chips, lemon wedge and house made tartar sauce $20 Lamb shoulder 2 x 300g pieces. Slow braised, served with mushroom ragu, crispy balsamic and rosemary potAtoes. Steamed veggies to share $48 Our lemon tart, tiramisu and Panna cotta are available take way. $13 by themselves or $11 if purchased in combination with any mail meal or pasta. All our soft drinks are $3 take away for cans and $5 for bottles. Beers etc have been adjusted significantly and prices are available on the front window. All our extensive wines are available take away, again the list will be on our front window and any wine purchased with a main meal is %25 off. I have tightened restrictions on our establishment in the interest of my customers safety. All our deliveries are now strictly controlled, food and product is only delivered by my select suppliers and left outside kitcehn. All product is removed from delivery packaging by gloved staff prior to bringing into the establishment where it is washed and processed by my chefs and I only. 13.01.2022 Lasagne ready for the freezer, I have 32 froZen for tomorrow m. $13.50 each. 25 minutes at 180 degrees or until just browning on top. Rest 5 mins then eat. Chickens, free range birds roasted and served on roasted potatoes, onions, pumpkin and sweet potato, brocolinni with my house made chicken gravy. $22 foil wrapped and ready for the oven, 12 mins at 180 or until hot. Large meal for one of great to share with a nice home made salad. Preorder for pickup tomorrow to reserve, [email protected] I have 6 share lambs left for tomorrow, also chicken and veal parmigiana available. 4 sirloin (420g) share meals as well. Fish and chips still on too, run out of house cut chips tonight, sorry! Making more tomorrow. Will be baking some cute brûlée in foil pudding moulds for take away. $10 each and might try to do some chocolate mousse in same moulds, see how we go for time. Will post tomorrow if we manage it. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone, Sorry there have not been any updates last few days. After the last 5 weeks, I just crashed into the Easter long weekend. I made a lovely batch of Take home chicken cacciatore, slow roasted with capsicum, olives truss tomatoes and red wine on Parmesan polenta, $15.50 Beef lasagne available and I have heaps made up ready to go, $14.50 baked here or take hole frozen... I have changed the lamb share meal to a single portion. It is now a 350g slow braised lamb shoulder, on creamy sweet potato bake, broccolini, jus, rosemary salt, $28 House made Belgium chocolate mousse served in foil cup, with fresh strawberry $8.0 Update on online ordering, Redcat have finally picked up the ball, they have issued a major update to the online system that will be going live very shortly. More updates are coming soon to improve the interface and layout as well. The pre order function will work correctly so you can order online anytime during the day for a specified pickup time during opening hours (5-830). The system now supports google ordering so you can access the online ordering from our google search result instead of having to use the link from the website. The location map will be removed and the link will now take you directly to the ordering menu. The login system now seems to be functioning correctly and the next update will include a guest checkout option. I received several orders successfully through the system last night, I encourage people to try and use it and I will post when it goes live. Redcat have promised to actively support any issues. Please bear with us Thanks everyone for the ongoing support, we love it ! So wonderful to read all the lovely comments about our take away food and how much everyone appreciates it.
