25.01.2022 Energy Switch is a free NSW Government service that helps customers find a better plan on energy bills and starts the request to switch providers. The service compares and shows customers the best priced plans and features from all NSW household electricity providers, based on the activity detailed in their current bill. Here is the link below. Dont be fooled by facebook and internet sites with very similiar names. ALWAYS look out for the NSW.GOV part to know that you have reached the right place. https://energyswitch.service.nsw.gov.au/

15.01.2022 Another product recall - this time a LED Highbay . It seems that this Highbay has a flexible supply cord that may be tied in a knot and used as an anchorage. The terminal block on the secondary driver may be prone to charring. In addition, the accessible metal fins on the LED luminaire may not be earthed. What are the hazards you say - Risk of electric shock and potential fire hazard A tad dangerous I would suggest. It really does pay to know where your lights are made and... to ensure that they comply with Australian Standards. A bargan may not be a bargan if it hurts someone. The product was sold by Beijing Hua Xin Liu He Investment (Australia) Pty Ltd and was sold via a number of outlets in QLD and WA. http://www.doesitcomply.com.au//beijing-hua-xin-liu-he-inv
14.01.2022 The price of Energy Savings Certificates in NSW continues to rise. This means more savings for businesses who are upgrading to energy saving equipment such as lighting. We have just completed a review of a manufacturing business where they can expect to receive a discount of approx. $190.00 per LED Highbay when converting from 400w Metal Halide to 135w high lumen output LED highbays. A nice little bonus for any business.
