Describe yourself in 3 words Crazy cat lady ~ What could you talk about for 30 minutes with absolutely no preparation? Earthquakes. The subject of my PhD, early career and my lifelong passion. I still get emails notifying me when there has been an earthquake somewhere in the world. ~ If you could be any animal what would it be and why? I think you can probably guess a cat. I just love them and their attitude to life. ~ Favourite place & why? Potsdam in Germany. I did a lot of work trips to Potsdam and loved to run in Sansoucci park and eat cheese soup. ~ Who is your hero & why? Arnold Schwarzenegger. I find his determination and what it led to in his career inspiring. ~ Favourite quote? The mind is the limit. I received an email from one of my lecturers asking me if I’d be interested in applying for an internship with FreddyMatch as a social media intern. I applied as I’ve seen first hand how hard it is for charities to gain volunteers having worked with them throughout uni and wanted to be a part of the change from there I met with Roxane and well the rest is history as they say. ~... What's your Favorite food? Having grown up on the beach and a lover of the hot weather I’m a sucker for a good Acai. ~ If you could be any animal what would it be and why? A dolphin. I just love being in the water, surfing and traveling the world while cruising the ocean swimming sounds like a dream to me. ~ Describe yourself in 3 words Determined, outgoing & hardworking ~ Who is your hero and why? Missy Franklin & Audrey Hepburn. Missy's determination and grit through adversity and never give up attitude is something I have found inspiring for many years. ~ Favorite quote? I was scrolling through LinkedIn, and I saw a post by one of my university professors, Gary Bowman, the co-founder of FreddyMatch. His message highlighted the potential and need for innovation within the volunteering community. I was intrigued, so I sent him an email, asking if he needed help. That got the ball rolling. ~... What's your favourite food? I have a rather complicated relationship with potato. I love it, and I eat far too much of it for it to be healthy. Chips, french fries, mash, gnocchi, roasted, baked, hash browns... what's not to love. Chocolate is a close second. ~ Describe yourself in 3 words Curious, creative & hopeful ~ What's your favourite quote? Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going.
