11.01.2022 Howdy Melbourne peoples. I have been contacted by a Christian Mum in south-east Melbourne has a child who has recently come out as gay. She is supportive of them and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with parents who have been in a similar situation. Please let me know if this is you or you have a super-awesome parent and you or they are happy to have a chat or meet up with her. Thanks, Tim.

10.01.2022 In case you were wondering whether the Roman Catholic bishop of Melbourne supported LGBTI Christians, here is your answer. Spoiler: he doesn’t.

08.01.2022 Good to see the Uniting Church has our back, even if some religious zealots don't...

06.01.2022 What wonderful news to wake up to in Victoria, and absolutely due.

06.01.2022 Under the guise of pseudo/fake science, many LGBTIQA+ members (and families) of our Catholic communities have been directly and indirectly harmed by these damag...ing practices . As Catholics, as people of faith - we fully support the Victorian Government's Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Bill 2020. Please help us widely share this statement from our friends at Acceptance Melbourne, especially to our Catholic networks and communities in Victoria. "Religious freedom is not the freedom to abuse. The Catholic Church says the same in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Second Vatican Council’s Declaration on Religious Freedom. In fact, Section 7 of the Declaration states that society has the right to defend itself against possible abuses committed on the pretext of freedom of religion. It adds that it is the special duty of government to provide this protection. That is what this Bill does: it does not threaten genuine religious freedom, but seeks to prevent abuse in the exercise of religious freedom." https://melbourneacceptance.com.au//change-or-suppression/
