25.01.2022 What a great day we had together in Church yesterday! The end of 2020 is starting to shape up ok, if you ask us! We’ve launched our Hilton Christmas Hamper Appeal (check back later this week for what to bring on Sunday), we’re launching the Alpha Marriage Course tonight with 8 couples, we’ve got a quiz night coming your way, and all the while connect groups are running and Sunday Services are the place to be! ... We love you all stacks Freedom City wouldn’t be the same without you!

24.01.2022 Dear Freedom City Church Family, As many of you will already know, Freedom City has had a big weekend. On Friday afternoon, 30th October, Pastor Andrew suffered a heart attack after returning home from a run. He was taken to hospital where he remains on life support in a critical but stable condition. Ps Andrew will likely remain on life support for a week or so as his body recovers from enduring CPR, having a stent placed in his heart and having a clot removed. Once Andrew i...s well enough to come off life support, he will stay in hospital for some further weeks for rehabilitation and will likely have a lengthy recovery period over the next few months. This has come as a big shock to Megan and the family and your prayers and well wishes are welcomed and encouraged. We have a note directly from Meg: We are praying for a miraculously quick recovery. Andy is still young and the doctors are encouraged by that and hope it will aid his recovery. We all know he has so much more to contribute to life and God still has big plans ahead for him, so we have hope. David Gifford and the leadership team are currently coordinating supports for the family so if you are wanting to assist them please talk to him. We will be providing updates from Megan for the church on our Freedom City Family Facebook group for those of you wanting regularly updates. For any church related matters going forward, Dave Gifford is our main contact. If you need to contact him, please reply via email and we will pass on his mobile number. The Board and Elders will be continuing to make decisions around how to best navigate this season and to aim to keep our Church family strong and healthy and we know how important it is that we continue our church life where possible. We encourage you to come together to support and encourage one another and have confidence that God is still always moving and allowing us to grow in every season. We are so thankful to God that Pastor Andrew is alive we trust God that His hand will be on every part of Andrew’s recovery. Blessings, Freedom City Church Board & Elders

This week, we are collecting pasta & pasta sauces! Pop a bag of pasta and jar of sauce in your trolley this week as you do your shop and bring them along on Sunday to be added. If you've missed any previous weeks and want to bring those items along, please do! ...
