08.01.2022 We’re just a bit excited that restrictions have eased. That’s why we want to make this Christmas extra special for members of our community and local businesses. We’re excited to be putting together some fantastic Christmas hampers for those in need this festive season, and as part of that, we’re aiming to raise $4500. That’s 100 x $45 boxed hampers. These hampers will be loaded with Christmas staples, children’s gift packs, food/toy vouchers, tinsel, a star ornament and a... personalised card. Our heart is to: Give generously Stimulate our local economy, and; Connect our community SO! If you’d like to be a part of this, there are 3 donating options: 1. Donate some Christmas hamper goodies (we can give you a list to work off), OR; 2. Donate one or more $20 food/toy vouchers from Railway Avenue (Ringwood East) local businesses (like IGA, the local butcher, cafes, The Coffee Apple), OR; 3. Donate funds toward the hampers. Remember every donation over $2 is tax deductible. In line with the Be Kind Maroondah campaign, let's partner together, show some love to those doing it tough AND local businesses, and let’s end this crazy ol’ year by blessing our community with some Christmas cheer! 04.01.2022 Every week our dedicated volunteers prepack these nutritous food hampers. To ensure community members can feed their families. Yet we provide more than food, we're here to listen, support and encourage those in need. Come down and visit our friendly team today, from 9.30 - 12pm.
