You can focus on something you’re grateful for, like dinner with your loved ones, or a movie. ... Or something negative, like the pile of laundry, and bills stacking up. It’s important to learn how to stop focusing on all the negative things in your life. By giving your attention to what’s wrong, your giving it power. Over time seeing the negative becomes a habit, and there’s no greater disservice you can do to yourself than that. Get out of that habit TODAY. Stop dwelling on your problems and start thinking about what you can do to fix them. Focus on the GOOD. Focus on what’s going right. Get into a positive frame of mind. The laundry will get done.
