24.01.2022 Our Teen Group has worked extremely hard during Term 1 to produce a Godzilla movie of their own! This project is designed to develop our teens team work skills and encourage a growth mindset. We want our teens to know they can learn new skills and achieve their goals by working hard. The boys had to agree upon and plan a project. They also had to meet their goals and stick to a tight 9 week schedule to see this project through to completion. Throughout the whole term they w...ere working on developing their cooperation, problem solving, leadership, assertiveness and negotiation skills. We are all so proud of what they have created! I hope you enjoy the latest Godzilla sequel FYI Peppa and George do survive in the end

21.01.2022 Last week at Freedom Social Skills Community access had a day down at 5 sports to learn how to play different sports like cricket and soccer. At the clinic, our older social skills class chilled out and talked about their week at school together. They also worked together to think a project they can complete over the coming weeks.... The younger social skills classes had so much on! Some classes designed a maze together and helped each other navigate through while learning the importance of teamwork. Other classes played different board games together like Guess Who!

20.01.2022 Last week at Freedom Social Skills We celebrated the final classes of Term 1 2021 with bingo, chatting about holiday plans and joining in on soccer skills. We also decorated Easter eggs and participated in an egg hunt. We look forward to see everyone again after a relaxing, chocolate-filled holidays.
