25.01.2022 It’s crazy to think that just two weeks ago there was an abundance of food, yes some of the necessities where already getting snapped up but fresh produce was still in abundance. Now all I’m hearing is it’s all gone . I literally landed from Vanuatu and went straight into self-isolation so I haven’t seen first hand what my local supermarket and health food stores are like. But all morning I have been talking to my clients about how to manage this situation when it comes t...o their nutrition and health. . I’d love to know how you guys are finding this situation and what you are struggling with the most I plan on doing videos and posts as much as I can to help you navigate your way through the empty shelves and the lack of food supply. 22.01.2022 I just had so much fun doing a live IG all about Motherhood over on @pcos_to_wellness account . We spoke about our conception and pregnancy journeys. Brigitte had PCOS and was told she wouldn’t fall pregnant naturally. And I was told miscarriage was a high possibility due to having a thyroid condition. . I did unfortunately miscarriage before having Van which I have spoken about before on my podcast. And one common question today was how long will it take to fall pregnant... again after a miscarriage? . . This is such a hard question to answer because there are so many variables that can play into your fertility journey. Such as: Was there an underlying cause of the miscarriage? How was the miscarriage handled? What are your hormones now doing? Have you got your period back since? Do you have a lot of stress (physical/emotional) present in your life? . . These are just some of the questions to ask. If this is something you are struggling with though, I highly recommend working with a health care practitioner(s) that can help you create the best internal world in your body to allow for the best outcome of pregnancy. 14.01.2022 Slow Sunday morning . This uni trimester is finally coming to an end which means I don’t have to drag myself out of bed every morning at 5am to get study and work done before Van wakes up, after a night of no more than 2 - 3 hours of consecutive sleep (cheers Van ) . Instead I get to lay in bed until my body is ready to get up, I can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun while Van plays and eats copious amounts of bark, and I can take the day as it comes! ... . 12.01.2022 One week ago was complete happiness in this magical place . After years of chatting about it, I feel so lucky that I was able to squeeze this quick holiday in with my family to Vanuatu. Although we came back to self-isolation and complete madness it was worth it. . Like many I have only seen the outside world through my windows for the past 7 days. Living in the inner city doesn’t really allow for backyard hangs or quick escapes to the park, because we are constantly surro...unded by people. So using visualisations and looking back on these photos are honestly keeping me sane. What are you doing to keep your mental health in check? S xx See more

08.01.2022 It’s official... I just want to dive into a giant mug of ceremonial cacao and never get out. This was honestly the most delicious drink EVER! . Ceremonial cacao can be enjoyed on your own but also in group gatherings or a circle. So, one of my girlfriends and I decided we would start a little FaceTime ceremonial cacao circle together with music, ceremonial cacao while our kiddies play, to help keep us connected, especially during this time. We may even add in a guided meditat...ion if the kids let us . I’m going to expand on the benefits of ceremonial cacao in another post, but for now all I can say is WOW. Have you tried it? 08.01.2022 After 9 months of posting my balanced bowls and a baby later it’s finally here the Balanced Bowls Ebook as promised. . I used to think health meant I had to buy all fresh and organic produce. I had to make everything from scratch and cut out certain food groups. But the reality is that that isn’t possible nor is it necessary to achieve good health. . I think we can put so much pressure on ourselves when it comes to the food we eat and the food choices we make. And more o...ften than not it causes more stress and harm in ones life. Not only does the stress negatively impact our body systems but can also lead to poor food choices and habits. . I believe it’s important to eat healthy 70-80% of the time and to do what fits your lifestyle. If frozen meals work for you and your lifestyle, eat them. If meal delivery services are needed, use them. If your salad comes out of a bag like mine sometimes does, eat it. It’s better than no salad at all. And that is what I am here to teach you. . This book has all the basic principles I teach to my clients for good health. It teaches you how to use your own palm to portion your meals to suit your body. How to balance your protein, carbohydrates and fats. How to navigate the supermarket shelves. Plus a combination of vegetarian / vegan and meat based recipes to get you started. . 01.01.2022 Quite a few of my beautiful Mumma clients are due to give birth over the coming weeks so we have been chatting a lot about the importance of fourth trimester nutrition . This trimester is often forgotten about as it begins when baby is born and lasts for a 12 weeks period. Many nutrients are needed during this trimester to allow for optimal healing for the mother’s recovery from birth. But also to promote nutritional substance if she is breastfeeding, to help Mumma with ...moods, energy levels, promote sleep and any other complications or experiences she be be feeling. .
