24.01.2022 Loving this Capstone project by @cassidy_box_ Can’t wait to see this setup at Freeform, great work Cassidy! Brutalist Melbourne... In a Europe re-building post world war 2 an honest architecture was required that put the raw materiality at the forefront of the design. That architecture was coined 'Brutalism'. Melbourne caught on during the 60s & 70s with many fine examples. This project has delved into the philosophy and visual power of these buildings through the collection of artefacts, historical images, current photography and articles. The centre piece will be a Photo Book surrounded by printed collateral such as Posters, Prints, a Clam Shell Box and this particular block of Branded Concrete
