19.01.2022 Its only been 6 months since we were in Auckland. This time my flight was seamless and only took 3 1/2 hours from Brisbane. In March we flew with Jetstar and it was an endless and stressful flight with a major delay of 8 hours in Melbourne very late at night. After that ordeal, I vowed I would always pay the extra money to ensure an easy and pleasant flight. [ 376 more words ] https://trudyhaak.wordpress.com//new-zealand-ramblings-da/

19.01.2022 Monday 10 th September 2018 Yesterday all the guests left and our job today was to finish off cleaning all the rooms and bathrooms. Amy, a lovely young woman from London was our boss and is a delightful, quirky person, whose catch phrase is, Peeerfect said like a pussy cat that got the cream. She had a career in film making in creative special effects i.e creating scars, wounds, vampire teeth etc. [ 160 more words ] https://trudyhaak.wordpress.com//new-zealand-ramblings-da/

14.01.2022 Our clinic is a cosy space with a waiting room, toilets and bathroom with its own entrance from the back of the house. There is a well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and teas provided. Parking is available for practitioners next to the clinic.

12.01.2022 Saturday 8th September There are lots of people milling around for one of their Mana relaxation weekends. The whole place came alive particularly in the dining room during meal times. With all the guests, our work is mainly centred around food preparation and endless dishes. Ho hum. Fortunately, Maria the main cook is a gegarious 60 something woman with boundless cheer and energy so it is a pleasure to be in the kitchen. 10.01.2022 Thaak Hello readers! I thought I would continue the trajectory of the blog and write about my experience at Mana Retreat in NZ. For the next 3 1/2 weeks I will be living as a wwoofer in the Coromandel peninsular on the North Island in New Zealand. Join me on this experience as I traverse community life once again and engage in the spiritual practice of being alive and connected. Yee haa! https://trudyhaak.wordpress.com//09/07/new-zealand-rambli/

09.01.2022 Sunday 9th September 2018 This morning I managed to get out of bed early and attend a 7.15am MyGong class in the freezing Octhan room. This room is large and spacious and offers fantastic views overlooking the peninsular. I got through the class but kept being distracted by very cold hands and feet. I don’t think I was alone in obsessing about getting close to heat again. [ 327 more words ] https://trudyhaak.wordpress.com//new-zealand-ramblings-da/

08.01.2022 Thursday 6 September 2018 After a good sleep at Noah’s Ark, I was taken to the bus station at Thames. I was a little early, so I managed to grab a wonderful coffee before the bus ride to Mana. Waiting for the bus, I met woman from Napier, Shelly who was smoking an astonishing electronic cigarette which looked more like a children’s toy than a cigarette. 04.01.2022 Friday 7 September 2018 Today after breakfast I walked up the mountain to the Santuary which is a shrine halfway up on the mountain. This seems to a relatively new building with a seperate bell tower which rings every half hour from 8am. It is a bit spooky to hear a European sound in a New Zealand nature spot. The view is spectacular from the Santuary and I believe even more so from the top of the mountain behind it. [ 114 more words ] https://trudyhaak.wordpress.com//new-zealand-ramblings-da/
