08.01.2022 Recently we acted for a de facto wife in an appeal to the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia. The appeal was wholly successful. In the decision the Full Court confirmed that contributions in a de facto relationship have the same worth as contributions in a marriage. The court also confirmed that contributions during periods of separation should be considered.
