24.01.2022 I was commissioned to build a custom "pallet" style coffee table for Benchmark Psychology in upper Mt Gravatt, Brisbane. The brief - they wanted something rustic and original with a bit of a "rough and ready" feel, also a magazine shelf and lockable industrial castor wheels and a dark gloss timber stain to match their existing furniture and decor. This is the finished product. There have been many other pieces of furniture made before now although I am delighted to say that they are my first official invoiced customer ! 22.01.2022 heres some things Ive made in the past few years - mostly presents for friends including candle holders complete with glass votives and bees wax candles, a small jewellery box for the little girl across the road and a plant stand for our bathroom with room for a bin underneath.

16.01.2022 Some further progress on the mega studio desk - table frames now welded, removable leg sections still to go then ready for powdercoating and finishing the timber tops !

16.01.2022 Building a new steel and slab timber entertainment unit / tv stand.... steel frame is all welded up and ready to be sent off for powdercoating. Timber slabs about to be planed, sanded, stained and prepped ready for epoxy clear coat, then ready to assemble once the frame is back from the powdercoaters. Should look pretty slick once its all done ! :-D

13.01.2022 Finally got around to finishing this children's picnic table and chairs set for our boys. Original inspiration from a similar item in an IKEA catalogue my partner was looking at buying although I said I could make one better.... famous last words :-p Well, after a few busy months of work in the lead up to Christmas, I finally had some time over the break to get it done. Pretty happy with the result to be honest. All Australian spotted gum hardwood with a natural oil finish.

05.01.2022 1 x very serious custom 3 piece studio desk under construction !! 3 x custom Australian bluegum recycled timber tops cut, glued and cramped, now set and ready for leveling and sanding before 3 coats of Scandinavian oil. Custom steel frame with detachable leg sections as requested by the customer for easier moving. All parts are now cut, drilled and thread tapped and ready for welding and assembly before being sent for powdercoating in satin black. ... Currently in the process of welding this beast together in the workshop... This is going to be one hell of a desk !! Stay tuned for further updates :-D
