14.01.2022 Hey Everyone, This year Central West Freemasons are jumping on board and raising much needed money for Movember. we are looking for 50 Masons to raise $100 each.... With a combined goal of $5000. Please if you are a member contact me to find out how to sign up to raise money through your own campaign under the umbrella of Central West Freemasons. Here is why Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. 3 out of 4 suicides are men, on average 60 men take their lives every hour that's one every minute. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. 1 in 2 Australian males will have a mental illness in their lifetime. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and we want to help them get there. Not only does Movember focus on men's mental health but also on health issues that men can get like prostate cancer. If detected early survival rate in the next 5 years is 98% but if found late your survival rate drops to 28% in the same time frame. Alone in 2018 there has been 17,729 males diagnosed with prostate cancer that makes up 23.8% of all cancerous diagnosed in men. Movember is striving to Halve the deaths by prostate cancer by 2030. Help me stop men dying too young. Please help us raise as much money as possible for this great cause
