25.01.2022 Not even the infamous Corona Virus will stop Lodge Canoblas Lewis meeting. This is last nights practice. 13 participants will be interesting to see how many sign into zoom next week for the regular meeting.

25.01.2022 What a great night in BATHURST NSW. At lodge Barham’s initiation of a new brother into the craft. The work of the evening was absolutely fantastic the officers and the master of the lodge W Bro Heath Robson were outstanding. Followed by the presentation of not only a 40 year jewel to the PRGC Peter Stoneman but a 50 year jewel to RT Wor Bro Brian Sherman also. A great night was had by all.

24.01.2022 Thought of bettering yourself? Thought of volunteering for the community? Thought of making a bunch of new friends? Thought of becoming a mason?... There are so many great opportunities that await you. Are you of legal age? Do you have belief in a god/s? Free of a Criminal Record? These are the three questions that qualify you for joining one of the oldest and largest fraternities in the world. Where a Jew and a Muslim go and meet each other as brothers. Where a Trolley boy and a judge are seen as equals. Ring Bro. Matthew McClure today on 0400125808 so he can answer any questions you may have.

19.01.2022 How great to hear that Freemason Bro Harry Billinge has been awarded a MBE by her Majesty the Queen. Bro Billinge 94, has raised over 25,000 towards a memorial for his fallen D-Day Comrades. He was in one of the first landing boats at the gold beach in Normandy at only 18. Harry has been a Mason since 1964.

19.01.2022 Canowindra Masonic Lodge has received a request from our networks with NSW Health. They are collecting well wishes from kids via drawings, to help boost morale for those who are presently working at the front-line of health in this challenging Covid-19 world. Many of these staff members currently have had little time with their own children, while others have, for obvious reasons, isolated themselves from that much loved and needed contact with their kids. If any Mason (or any community member) has children or grandchildren who would like to make a drawing, to wish the staff well, please email these to [email protected] Health NSW are happy for the child to add their first name only and age only in the drawing if they wish.

16.01.2022 Freemasons Central West are working towards becoming COVID Safe we are closely following the precautions set out by the Chief Medical Officer and Grand Lodge. With this said we hope to see you back in lodge in the next couple months with some luck.

15.01.2022 Here is a great new website that promotes freemasonry. This page is also to be used for people who think they might want to join, but want to know more about the fraternity before they submit their paperwork. If you have a question and aren’t sure of the answer. Feel free to private message this page and we will be happy to point you in the right direction. Alternatively you can come to one of our many practice nights and meet us all.

14.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them

01.01.2022 Brethren, I would like to look at the possibility of opening a DeMolay Chapter in either Orange or Bathurst. I would need 9 volunteers to become committee members who would be trained by DeMolay Australia and we would need to find 15-20 prospect members aged between 12-21. Here’s a bit about DeMolay International. Started in 1919 in Kansas City USA by Jacques De Molay who was the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar. Is aimed at taking male youths between the ages of 12-2...1 and making them into role models for the community. It teaches such things as Courtesy, Comradeship, Fidelity, & Cleanliness. It also gives a child a place to go where like minded kids are and to have fun with one another. They come together play video games, play sport and do camping trips away. Become good friends with good morals. If your or your son would like to be apart of this please inbox me. Meetings would be once every 4 weeks.
