24.01.2022 Today we bid a sad farewell to Elizabeth Anne Scott, mother of WM Geoffrey Scott and wife of 46 years to IPM WM Bob Scott. After a 6 year battle with Cancer, she took her place in the Grand Lodge above on the 13th April 2018 - she is survived by 3 children and 5 grand children and her Husband. The Funeral Service will be at 10am at Heritage Brady Funerals Gordonvale.

While we have had to put our normal Lodge meetings on hold until we have an effective Covid-19 management plan, and the QLD Government enables us to do so - we are still getting together at social events, to support our local hospitality venues. 13.01.2022 Just a reminder there will be an ANZAC Vacant Chair Ceremony at Gordonvale SHS Hall this Friday starting at 7:30pm sharp. Please be seated by 7:15pm. It is open to the public with Brethren attending encouraged to wear their Masonic regalia (apron, usual summer dress but no office insignia, grieves or collars. Cornerstone jewels are ok - only worn by WMs) and any war medals from yourself or family. Mayor Bob Manning will be a special guest so please attend if you can to pay re...spect for those that put themselves in harms way, so we can live today. Lest we forget.

02.01.2022 Have Merry Xmas everyone !! In some exciting news, Gregory and Allan Lodges (Allan is a daughter Lodge of Gregory) have voted to amalgamate our Lodges in Gregory Allan Lodge 50H. Both Lodges have a long history within the region, and combining the Lodges is to honour the work of past Brethren, but also to ensure Freemasonary in Cairns continues to remain strong, well into the future. More details will be forthcoming in the New Year, once District Grand Lodge confirms the deta...ils and we can announce the Installation. As I have been in the Chair if King Solomon for 2 years, I won’t be taking an office in the amalgamated Lodge, but will be a founding Trustee. Take care everyone and have a wonderful New Year.
