19.01.2022 Hello everyone...Complaining ahead.... AS I consider you more than customers I will share with you this... I must say the last 4 weeks has been 4 of the hardest of my life...I now live with the thought of ANOTHER auto immune disease...and frankly it's just not fair.Its not fair to have to be the Freak that has to think about food restrictions all day everyday.... when I buy in a supermarkets I have to check every label, I have to be a detective when eating out at a cafe by... asking rediculous questions about weather their fryer really contain particals of gluten (poisen to me), weather they use the same tongs to pick up my food while picking up a gluten item...thats called cross contamination anyways....its in medicine , milks, tea, ice cream, marinated meats,stuffing .....It just feels like I'm defeated. IT'S never ending ...last year I cried in the toilet in a restaurant because they couldn't guarantee my meal would be safe...I was 43 years of age and I rang ahead been assured that it was gluten free safe,I sat awkwardly with a cuppa tea while all my family ate, I just said' that's ok I wasn't hungry '(I was really hungry)and they never saw my tears! Seriously I'm exactly like Mr Bean I usually carry my food in an esky prepared as back up then I never go without. I think how the hell can I be Gluten FREE dairy FREE Soy FREE ,Sugar Free now?...its a lifestyle that chose me...I LOVE food. I never thought I'd be that weirdo asking about food restrictions any place I eat...its embarrassing really but I don't want to get seriously ill.It feels like for weeks, as if I have a flu with brain fog , severe tiredness and I get scared of another auto immune disease sneaking up. ....but guess what? There's no way I'm gunna let this disease or any other beat me! ...infact I'm going to think of it as FIGHTING for my LIFE my HEALTH ..im going to put all my PASSION into recreating Healthy food and sugar- free treats just like I did years ago when Free-range Chef was created....the NEW range...and ofcourse keep all my other favourite s as like I've said before we are all in a different life journey and we need choices ....the point of this post is the FIGHT is REAL for Coeliacs / auto immune sufferers and there are many health reasons why a person needs a peculiar diet and we all have times in our life that we feel like how I'm feeling now...sure it's not fair but uno it's OK there are 1000s of people like me having the same kind of week.....YOUR NOT ALONE ... I WILL pick myself up , be positive, smile and look into the future as see how I can make a difference with my passion for food. 14.01.2022 I have some really exciting news! Now this really means alot to me and I hope you to!....Tomorrow afternoon my slices will be delivered to Williams Woodshed ...Yes that's right! In a gorgeous Cafe and great outside area for the kids to play. Last month I popped in and had a delicious gluten-free pie and chips....sooo now we will have slices too.Finnally I can forget my Mr Bean pre-organised lunch and rely on having lunch out on the way to Perth...like a normal person ...with my family instead of pre eating and sitting with only a cuppa tea....now that means alot...its the simple things in life that mean the most.... 12.01.2022 Well it's that time of year when I'm experimenting for the shop to be re opened this year, if I don't chicken out....looking at March at this stage.Ill be selling alot of Healthy options that are homestyle rustic...cutting the crap out of food. 08.01.2022 I don't usually write reviews but since I ate at Wing Soon Chinese 3 times safely in Perth I'd love for you to know about this place...we barely eat out as I'm so worried about getting sick especially traveling. My Mr 7 had never had Chinese in a shop before...so we were really happy.

The Albany Show / Fair has FREE entry Friday and Saturday....soooo it means your welcome to pop in and grab lunch and may be a delicious bakery SLICE or chocolate eclairs!....I will be selling LOW Carb gourmet rolls , Prawn Avocado and Mango Salads,Marinated Chicken and healthy salads....I'm in the Western Pavilion and there's an Irsh dance performance at 11 in the same pavilion...I'm a little excited.

08.01.2022 Thankyou so much for support and I read every single comment! We are definitely a team of people that understand each other and was therapeutic writing my post and reading yours. I really hope the post may help someone else that might be going through the same... Anyway I've started to bake Sugar-free! Another way to bake..Some are amazing Some I need to work on.... I used Monk fruit mainly as it doesn't have an after taste and the texture of the food isn't altered( Expens...ive though )I find stevia has an grainy texture and I'm just not interested in using Xylotol as I read the side effects and gave me stomach pains..but we are all different ...The Sugar free Date Loaf is sweetened with dates and( honey and Monk fruit but I used very little). Love the bars I made to...Date choc cranberry / Apricot ...oh and the Caramal bliss balls are really good to. On sale tomorrow at North Road IGA 930-5 plus all of my other goodies See more

06.01.2022 I thought you might find this interesting... 6months ago I have half of my thyroid removed and 3 months ago I found out that my thyroid blood results weren't at a normal level.I was getting alot of signs like heart palpitations, cold hands feet,weight gain so I have been seeing 2 doctors to help... Now Dr 1s opinion was that it's a hormone that I'm missing and the only way to fix it, is replaceing it by Medication. Dr 2s opinion was that if I eat Gluten-free Dairy free Soy... FREE and Sugar-free that my results could improve without the medication at this stage.....so I chose Dr2s advice and have been following a strict diet... So today I received a normal range for my thyroid which I'm stoked about...seriously I was sceptical but needed hope and figured I had nothing to lose and so much to gain. I love both Drs and 2 opinions is better than one. We take health for granted. My new path with also bring NEW healthy options...for example look at this Low Carb bread .(Made out of Almond meal) But don't worry I definitely not be losing my well known goodies just adding Sugar-free ones too Take care Susan See more
