14.01.2022 Been wanting to do this for ages. Had so much fun. Already want to do a bigger one. Shadow box frame and Fiskar punch from Spotlight, paint swatches from Bunnings and some double sided tape. Love holidays.

11.01.2022 Little 5 X 7 guinea pig

10.01.2022 Now some Tasmania Tiger or Thylacine prints. Also inspired by our trip to Tassie. Though officially the last thylacine died in captivity in the Hobart Zoo in the 1930s many people still believe they survive in the Tasmanian wilderness. I'd like to think they do.

10.01.2022 My latest sandstone piece. More seahorses.

08.01.2022 Just finished. 80cm X 40cm Helidon sandstone. Reclining Lady. Very heavy.

08.01.2022 Working on my first sandstone piece in I don't know how long. Nice to get dirty again. Inspired by my seahorse Lino print. I'll post a pic when I'm done.

06.01.2022 Its been a long while since I posted here. Life gets in the way of art at times. I have created 3 sandstone pieces for the Toowoomba Grammar Art Show the end of March. First time entering at Grammar. Ill be interested to see the response I get to these pieces. Im also putting in one painting. My Marilyn titled imperfection is beauty 101 cm x 76cm. The title comes from a quote by Marilyn.

05.01.2022 A long time since I posted. Here's a bit of an update.

03.01.2022 Something a bit different.

03.01.2022 My latest mosaic. Ceramic tiles on a skimmer board.

02.01.2022 Latest piece finished . A commission for a friend.

02.01.2022 My latest painting just finished. 1200cm x 900cm.

02.01.2022 Here's another seahorse. Same size as the other one, different colour mulberry paper and frame. Do you know that it is the male seahorse that gets pregnant and has the babies. Could you imagine what a very different world we would live in if that was the case for people?

01.01.2022 Might be 40 degrees outside but I finished the seahorse. I know a lot of people will wonder why I didn't make the seahorse bigger but the piece of stone is full of character all by itself.
