25.01.2022 BALI YOGA RETREAT . We are thrilled to share that we have chosen the charity we will be supporting in the lead up to and while on our retreat in Bali in September. . The organisation is called Bumi Sehat @bumisehatbali and they co-ordinate three Community Health and Education and Childbirth Centers within Indonesia - one in Nyuh Kuning, just outside of Ubud actually.... . At their clinics, they offer a comprehensive range of allopathic and holistic medicine, as well as pre and post-natal care, breastfeeding support, infant, child and family health services, nutritional education, pre-natal yoga and gentle, loving natural birth services. . Bumi Sehat's approach to care and wellbeing aligns closely with our beliefs at The Collective by valuing inclusivity, diversity and accessibility. . We will keep you posted on the different ways we will be supporting this beautiful organisation as a community. While on retreat in Bali, we will visit their clinic and learn first-hand about the work that they do for families in Indonesia. . Our intention while on retreat is guided by the Sanskrit word Amantiva, which means Reaching Into Our Humility. To be humble requires us to be curious and to go into ourselves. It asks us to to question our motives and actions, to be present with what is, and to accept responsibility for the choices and decisions that we have made, with grace. We will then apply the practice of humility off the mat by supporting Bumi Sehat. . You can learn more here: https://bumisehat.org/ See more
