25.01.2022 Its been almost a year since my little family of 3 made the decision to book a weekend away every 3 months... best decision ever! Since COVID-19 really took off in Australia the past few weeks and our daily routines, planned events and freedom have been taken away from us, I have struggled with the uncertainty of the day to day living. Im one who has a rich, full schedule, loves to plan ahead and feels safe by having order in my life. What a great lesson this pandemic has truly been. I am reminded that I have no idea what is going to happen next in life and I really dont have the control... I thought I had. We only have TODAY. We dont need to worry about yesterday or tomorrow. Future tripping is going to give us nothing but worry. Today is all weve got. And what a fantastic day it is

To be a mother to my ...boy Jordan is without a doubt the biggest gift Ive been given on this planet. I thank my lucky stars everyday that he chose us My heart is a little heavy this year as I reflect on the array of emotions this day brings for many of us... Im reminded just how incredibly STRONG all women are and how no matter what life throws at us, we have a way to get through and come out the other side with more fight, more strength and more courage. 10.01.2022 Happy New Year, wonderful people! I have been doing a lot of writing and reflecting the past few days. 2019 has been one of the toughest years Ive experienced in my almost 33 years. It has challenged me in ways I didnt know I could be challenged and has given me the deepest pain I didnt know existed. I finally found myself saying what other people have told me many timesthat I really am a strong person, so much stronger than I give myself credit for. Yesterday I can w...holeheartedly say was the best day of 2019. Not because anything special happened. In fact, I was sleep deprived, it was a sweltering 43 degrees and I was running mundane errands. But upon reflection, I finally felt I have regained my peace of mind, serenity and happiness after being in the ditch. It hasnt been easy, but I have worked hard to get to where I am today. Gratitude has been a big one for me. I do my best to look for the gratitude in even the darkest situations. Fake it to you make it and eventually youll start to believe. Thats what happened for me. Why I am writing this? Partly for self healing, acknowledgement and the ability to shut the door on 2019 and move on into a new and opportunity filled 2020. But mostly, I want others to remember that no matter how dark things can get, there always a way out. ALWAYS. These are some questions I have used to reflect on 2019. I encourage you to do the same! 1. How has your life changed or stayed the same in the last year? 2. What are you most proud of? 3. What stressed you out the most? 4. What are five words that describe this year, and which five words would you like to describe 2020? 5. What negative habits do you want to break next year? 6. Were there any opportunities you missed out on? 7. What did you start and not finish? 8. What brought joy into your life this year? 9. What are you most grateful for? 10. Whats the one thing youd like others to remember about you when youre no longer here? Stay safe and have a wonderful last day of 2019 and a very happy and healthy 2002! Janine
