13.01.2022 Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Mercy to Children 'A'isha, may Allah be pleased with her, said, "A bedouin came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant ...him peace, and asked, "Do you kiss your children? We do not kiss them.' The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Can I put mercy in your hearts after Allah has removed it from them?'" (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 90, Book 5, Hadith 7) Children are our future. They are our Ummah’s future and while they are children they deserve to be kept safe, surrounded and nurtured with love and taken care of by their parents. Your affection towards them is not just natural, but a mercy to them. Don’t be harsh with your children. Give them a good upbringing, raise them to be the best they can be and set an example to them. Your mercy to them will come back to you tenfold. When you are older, they will treat you with kindness and on the Day of Judgement, they will raise your ranks Insha’Allah.
