25.01.2022 https://www.freetronics.com.au//intermittent-shipping-duri

25.01.2022 Shipping closed during December 2018: I'll be taking a break from shipping orders from the SuperHouse and Freetronics online stores during December. Any orders placed after December 4 will be shipped right after Christmas, hopefully around December 28 and 29. If you need anything before Christmas, get your order in right now!

23.01.2022 Latest wheelchair control breakout successfully communicating via CAN bus for the first time, before being fitted into its case. And it only needed 1 bodge wire...! Now we need to figure out a good location to mount it on Nick's chair, and to test it with some other chairs. Join me at 9am Melbourne time GMT+10 tomorrow (Sunday) for a YouTube livestream where I'll show this project in detail, from the first prototype through to the current hardware. I'm up to "C" in my list of projects now and there are some good ones coming up. Subscribe at https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperHouseTV and click the little bell icon so you'll receive notifications when the stream starts.

21.01.2022 Got questions about Arduino-based home automation? Jump on the livestream at 9am Sunday Melbourne time (GMT+1100) to chat to Jon from Freetronics, who also has a popular home automation YouTube channel called SuperHouse.

16.01.2022 I just learned that Ford has more than 100 of my Relay8 boards in use on their production lines! I wondered why so many were being shipped to Dearborn, MI. Turns out they stack them together to get a bunch of outputs on one controller.

16.01.2022 The EtherTen has been one of the most popular boards that Freetronics has ever made, but its design originated in 2010 and it hasn't had a major update since 2013. The time has finally come to reveal the next major iteration: the EtherUNO! Over the last couple of months I've experimented with several prototypes, exploring different options for the Ethernet chip and other features. After some very productive discussion on the SuperHouse Discord server and on previous livestrea...ms, the specs for the 2020 EtherUNO have now been finalised. To see the latest prototype and learn about the future of the EtherTen, join me on my regularly weekly livestream on Sunday morning at https://youtu.be/rdUlz03e7gw -- Jon Oxer

14.01.2022 At first glance this looks real, but the actual PCBs are blue so you know this must be rendered

06.01.2022 Upcoming live Q&A with Vela Georgiev about visiting Chinese electronics factories! In November 2017, Vela Georgiev took a group of engineers to China for a tour through a variety of factories and the famous Huaqiangbei electronics markets. The group visited Seeed Studio, ITEAD, the Shenzhen Maker Faire, the LiFX factory, Hytera EMS, and many other fascinating places to learn about rapid prototyping, low/high volume manufacturing, hardware focused business accelerators, and su...ccessful electronics startups. Vela will be interviewed live on YouTube by Freetronics founder Jonathan Oxer, and will share her plans for doing it all again on the HardworX Shenzhen Innovation Tour 2018. Join the livestream to ask questions about the tour, or about electronics manufacturing in general. Vela will take questions via live chat so if there's anything you've wanted to know about how electronics is manufactured at scale or how you can take your idea and turn it into a product, this is your chance to ask. If you're interested in electronics, the Innovation Tour could be one of the most important events you ever take part in. To see the livestream or watch it later, subscribe to Jonathan's YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/superhousetv and also click the bell icon so that you will be notified when the livestream starts. The livestream will begin at 8pm Monday 13 August. 05.01.2022 Pick and place machine structure is now mostly complete. One auto feeder fully fitted and tested, works brilliantly. 2 more behind it in this photo but without ...reels. Bottom camera mounted with a flat mounting plate to replace the side plate. Arduino based feeder controller mounted. I'm going to be running the 3D printer flat out for about the next 3 weeks making more feeders!

05.01.2022 Check out the next generation board that will replace the EtherTen.

03.01.2022 So cool that we have two fine electronics mags in Australia now. It feels like an electronics renaissance.
