23.01.2022 TRUE SPORT NOMINATION: ERCIA MIGLORI Erica has been playing netball since childhood and has been umpiring since she was a junior player. Erica only stopped umpiring when she had kids (three lovely girls) and returned to umpiring when they started to play netball. Erica has been a part of the FNA Umpire Squad since the early 2000's and has been, and still is, a valued member of the FNA Umpire Committee for over 10 years. During her time on the committee Erica ran the FNA Junio...r Umpire Program for 7 years and continues her support of the program through a coaching role. Erica is the first to put her hand up to help out, and always follows through with what she says she will do. Best of all she always brings in lollies to keep the umpire squad happy! Thank you Erica for your commitment to FNA, Netball and Umpiring. You were nominated by one of your peers who wanted you to know that you are a valued member of our team :) If you know a true sport nomination in box us with why they are a true sport and a picture. #TrueSport #FremantleNetballAssociation #FreoNetball #FNA2020 #NetballCommunity #FNAUmpires #GiveBack True Sport WA

18.01.2022 Grand Final day, 19th September 2020 and Phase 4 Covid Restrictions. FNA would like to remind our community that we will still be operating under COVID-19 Phase 4 conditions on 19th September and so there will be no change to our current arrangements. We have been very fortunate to have a Winter netball season in 2020 and it is very important that our netball community continue to keep up their great work and adhere to our Phase 4 restrictions.... We are very aware that families want to support players during Grand Finals however please ensure that your members are aware that large, multigenerational family groups would not be appropriate for this years Grand Final day games. FNA need to monitor spectator levels and move people if necessary. No BYO chairs are permitted as this reduces spectator capacity and causes hazards when between courts. Patrons in service lines at the match office, canteen, barista kiosk and toilets will be required to stand 1.5m apart. We appreciate your support and the fact we have been able to hold such a positive season to date despite the global pandemic. We remind our members of the following points of our Covid-19 Phase 4 Safety Plan. - Goal Post Pads & match balls to be sanitised before each game. - Drink Bottle carriers and shared team food is not permitted at breaks. - Scorer and Timers to stand together but 1.5m apart - End of Game cheers: players should NOT intertwine arms or have arms around players when doing post-game cheers and elbow bumps should replace high fives. - Spectators and other non-participants are required to physically distance at 1.5m. - The number of spectators per court is limited as each court has only one sideline and one goal line as standing areas. - We cannot allow spectators for adjacent courts to stand back to back when spectating. #FNA2020 #FreoNetball #FremantleNetballAssociation #Netballcommunity #Besafe

There are many reasons why she was nominated below are just a few.... Sondra works tirelessly for our Association from dawn to dusk on a Saturday and for countless hours during the week.
